Chase Recap:
I’d wake up in North Platte, Nebraska and end up at Scott’s house in Omaha. After the tornadoes on the 5th, we were hoping to continue the streak in a small 5% in Southeast Nebraska.
Morning
The day before Scott Bennett and I witnessed a tornado in Wyoming, visible from Nebraska. After staying in North Platte, we’d hit the road down I-80 to Lincoln where we’d get lunch.
After lunch in Lincoln, we took highway 2 over to Nebraska City where we waited.
And waited.
And busted. So we got dinner and headed back to Omaha.
