Chase Recap:

After attending the 2013 NCAA Mens Basketball National Championship the previous night, I woke up in Atlanta with a flight to Oklahoma City. I was able to same day change my flight with Delta to the first ATL-OKC flight of the day.

Flying to Oklahoma

After a long night and early morning, I was pretty tired and landed in Oklahoma City sometime early in the morning. Cory Watkins picked me up from the airport and took me to my truck, which had been getting repaired over the weekend. We headed south on I-44 into Texas and hung out in Burkburnett.

Convective Initiation

Eventually I headed further south and met up with David and Jay before storms started blowing up. A triple point of sorts was located to our south, and would be the focus for storms. We made the decision to head towards Seymour and then to the dominant storm by Graham.

The storm was obviously not going to produce any tornadoes, but did produce some nice gusty wind which blew dust up and produced some nice hail. Cory and I headed north and eventually got into some decent sized hail near Windthorst.
