Trip to the state of Wyoming in the summer of 2024. Yellowstone was the main goal, but I had plenty of pins on my map that I wanted to knock out.

Scotts Bluff National Monument

First stop of the trip was to Scotts Bluff National Monument in western Nebraska. The first day of my trip was driving to near Scottsbluff where I stayed the night. I had wanted to stop here for awhile, but was always busy storm chasing.

Fort Laramie National Historic Site

After visiting Scotts Bluff, I made a short stop at this important site. Plenty of people passed through here over the years and Fort Laramie was important in expanding the American frontier. It really was hot on this July day, so I did not spend an extended amount of time here.

Yellowstone National Park

The ultimate destination this trip was Yellowstone National Park. I ended up spending most of the week in the park, seeing wildlife and landscapes.

I also spent a few days at the spectacular Grand Tetons just south of Yellowstone.
